Temple, Texas Hero Leaves Beautiful Legacy That Will Last Forever
Allison Dickson of Temple, Texas truly lived her best life while spreading love, hope, and perspective to everyone she met with the contagious motto, "I don't need easy, I just need possible." Dickson passed away on Wednesday, and leaves far more than a motto we can all draw inspiration from, she leaves a beautiful legacy of wanting to make the world the best that it can be every day.
The number of lives she impacted for the better is far beyond any number that can be counted. From an annual toy drive for McLane's Children's Hospital within the Baylor, Scott and White system during the holidays, to establishing scholarships for her three alma maters, Temple Independent School District, Southwestern University, and Baylor School of Law.
Always the constant motivator to seek support for causes she believed in, Interim Dean of Baylor Law School, Patricia Wilson, added this,
"Alison's heart called on her to be of service to other people, and one of the things she was really, really good at is encouraging people to support the things that she supported."
You can find numerous additional quotes from her many friends inside this KCEN article. I did not personally have the pleasure of knowing Allison Dickson, but many of those I do know are so eager to share her many amazing qualities, and you can be certain I will play my part in continuing her incredible legacy of service.
"I don't need easy, I just need possible."
