Temple Airport To Host 75th Anniversary Draughon-Miller Airshow
Can I just say that airshows are amazing! Going in the sky might literally be the coolest thing ever. That's why it is so exciting to see the return of the 75th Anniversary Draughon-Miller Airshow to Killeen-Temple, Texas.
Sometimes when we're adulting, we lose the former perspective we once had as kids, and how amazing everything is. Think about discovering for the first time ever we can go in the sky, and then learning you can actually jump out of planes if you want.
A couple episodes ago on The Last Of Us Ellie helps us remember just how cool flying is.
When Can We See The Show?
The airshow is scheduled for May 13, 2023 from 9a-5p. There will even be a chance for you to take a ride in the World War 2 B-25 Bomber called, "Devil Dog." This sounds like a can't miss opportunity to me. I once got to ride in a "Fat Albert," and it was like being on the coolest roller coaster ever except you were in the sky.
Where Can I Get More Info?
More details are coming, but this save the date post on the City of Temple, TX Facebook page is definitely worth bookmarking. Trust me, your kids will remember this forever.
