Houston, Texas's South Side has a major issue happening lately with rideshare drivers being targeted for carjackings and the most recent ambush turned into a horrific execution for a Lyft driver. This is the third rideshare driver to be attacked in the last two weeks, and people are demanding Houston authorities to provide solutions to get it to end.

Sadly, at this point there are far more questions than answers because the attack occurred in the dead of night just before 2 AM, and the vehicle was ditched a short while later just a few blocks from the carjacking. The Houston Police Department are asking people in the area to check their exterior cameras because it appears the suspects potentially approached the victim on foot from a nearby, poorly lit field.

Texas Lyft Driver Now Dead After Horrific Execution

The murder victim, somehow remarkably, was able to communicate briefly with the responding officers, and mentioned being dragged from the vehicle by at least two men before being shot multiple times.
