Yes, Texas Did Have To Reject License Plates In 2023
We've all got at least one personal item on our cars in Texas: our license plates!
Our vehicles in the Lone Star State always have some type of personality with them don't they? We could have stickers of our favorite things, magnets of certain kinds, or one we've all seen before, nobody using their blinker.
That last one certainly isn't rare of course. But all of our Texas vehicles need identification on them for many reasons. However, not everyone will want a normal, regular license plate. Instead, they might want a plate that has a reference to something in the life, or driving in general.
But...not all personal plate names are good for the roadway. How do we know? Well...a new list of rejected ones was released from last year, and some will you make you laugh.

According to MyParisTexas, we can only describe these suggestions as well...longshots to say the least. Here are some of the rejected ones, in all their glory:

- O-U-MAD
- IMDRUNK
- JOMAMMA
- HI HATER
- RAAAGE
- ICYUMAD
- O U FANCY
- NA U MAD
- BADAASS
- TORTUR
- IM LITTY
Yes, we're somewhat surprised that certain ones were submitted. Also, what did Emily do to have a license plate directed at her? Our personal favorite is JOMAMMA though.
So yes, these are license plates you certainly won't see in Texas this year. There's always next year right?
