Things to Do this Central Texas Halloweekend

It's one of the best times of the year when everyone gets all dressed up in crazy costumes and children flood the streets on the hunt for delicious treats across the community.

I love trick or treat, but sometimes those communities get "oversaturated" with people. Wouldn't it be nice to take your family to do something else besides waiting in line at a stranger's house and not even for a full size candy bar?

Well, I've put together a list of some events going on in Central Texas for this Halloweekend.

Trunk or Treat

There is something nice about being able to take the kids to a nice controlled environment to have your Halloween fun. A line of cares with trunks full of candy....doesn't get much better than that. Several churches in the area will be holding trunk or treat events this weekend.

The Express Emergency Room is holding a trunk or treat event on SAT (3-6)

Everest Rehabilitation Hospital will hold a trunk or treat on SAT (3-5)

The trunk or treat for Lake Belton High School is on SAT (5-7)

Bruceville Eddy United Methodist Church trunk or treat is SUN (@6)

Trunk or Treat at Sparta Volunteer Fire Department is SAT (5-9)

Events

There is more than just trick or treat going on if you're trying to save yourself a future trip to the dentist this year. Here are some of the Halloween themed events going on in Central Texas.

The Monster Mash is happening at the Heritage Museum in Temple on SAT (6-8)

The 3rd Annual Harvest Fest Family Fun Night @ the Harker Heights Expo Center is SUN (5-8)

BooCru Halloween at Crusader Stadium game starts SAT (@12)

Haunted Houses and Trails

This section is for those thrill seekers out there. If you're looking to go get scared or just do something fun for Halloween, check out some of these Central Texas attractions.

Camp Thriller Haunted Trail in Lorena will be SAT & SUN (@7:30)

The Beltonian Theatre Haunted House 2021 is open now (6-9, hours vary this weekend)

The Haunted Trail in Copperas Cove will be FRI (6-10:30)

I know not everyone out there has to find a kid friendly event and would rather find a good Halloween party. So, I found a few spots you might be able to hit this weekend.

The Halloween party with the Disabled American Veterans in Harker Heights is SAT (7-11)

Halloween Havoc in Harker Heights is SAT (@9pm)

14th Anniversary, a Halloween Party with Jay White & The Blues Commanders

Something Different

Even if you're not into the adult Halloween scene, you can still enjoy the holiday weekend relaxing and being in the spirit. Here're is a couple cool Halloween craft events this weekend.
