Traffic Fatality Has Closed Elevated I-35 Northbound In Temple

Temple Fire and Rescue is reporting a closure to the elevated portion of I-35 Northbound in Temple this afternoon.

Temple Fire and Rescue along with Scott & White EMS responded to a two vehicle accident on I-35 at mile marker 299 about 1:49 pm. Responders say the arrived to find a motorcyclist deceased as a result of injuries from the crash.

Temple Police has the accident reconstruction team working to discover the sequence of the crash, and an environmental contractor is responding to conduct clean-up procedures as the afternoon moves on.
