Yankees Fan Ejected After Taunting Zack Greinke’s Depression
As if Yankees fans didn't already have a bad reputation at least one fan is making it much worse.
Click2Houston reports that one fan was ejected from Yankee Stadium Thursday night after he "rained down' insults aimed at Houston Astros starting pitcher Zack Greinke.
This wasn't your typical trash talk. Greinke has been open with the fact that he has a social anxiety disorder and deals with bouts of depression. The fan reportedly made fun of his conditions as well as yelling slurs about his mother for a good 20 minutes during warm-ups.
After a handful of warnings New York police escorted the fan out of the stadium.
This comes after Astros manager A.J. Hinch and outfielder Josh Reddick complained of bottles being thrown on the field during game three at Yankee stadium.
Yankee fans get your stuff together.
That goes for any sports fans. Look I get it, you can get super wrapped up in the moment, but those players are humans. Love your team, don't hate the other.
I've been a Dallas Cowboys fan my whole life. When I was younger I used to hate Eli Manning, just due to the fact that he was the Giants quarterback. But Eli is one of the coolest dudes in the NFL. I didn't lose the passion for the Cowboys to beat the Giants, but I hate seeing the two time Super Bowl winning on the bench.
You can be a good fan and a good person. It's pretty easy.
