The most common celebrity alma maters are New York University and UCLA, but the University of Texas in Austin has plenty of notable alumni that have gone on to become well-known in various fields.

Matthew McConaughey, also known as the Minister of Culture, is probably one of the best known Longhorns. The Uvalde, Texas native can be seen at football games and in the film class that he teaches on the Forty Acres. He also seems to be thinking about a run in politics, but has declined a role in politics for now, according to the Texas Tribune.
