His real first name? Frederick! Dierks was given to him as a middle name in honor of his great grandmother's maiden name.
HE'S A SMARTY PANTS
Dierks attended Culver Academies and graduated from The Lawrenceville School, both very prestigious, elite college preparatory academies.
HE'S A GRADUATE OF VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY
Dierks transferred from the University of Vermont to Vanderbilt when he was 19. He graduated there in 1997.
HIS FIRST INDUSTRY JOB WAS IN TELEVISION
Dierks started working at Nashville Network (now SpikeTV) at the age of 19. His job was to look through old videos of country music performances!
HE'S MARRIED TO HIS HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART
Dierks and his wife, Cassidy, dated in high school and sporadically through the years before going their separate ways. Years later, the two met again in February of 2005 on his tour bus. They eloped in Mexico in 2005!
HIS HIT SONGS ARE ABOUT HIS FAMILY
Bentley wrote his hit song "Feel that Fire" about his wife, Cassidy. His newest hit, "I Hold On", was inspired by his father who recently passed away.
HE'S A DAD
Dierks has 3 children with his wife: Evelyn Day Bentley (5) Jordan Catherine Bentley and Knox (5 months old).
