City crews will be repairing and replacing water valves and must turn off the water in order to complete the work.  Water service will NOT be available from approximately 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Once the valve installations are complete, lines will be flushed and water samples will be tested.

Residents in the affected locations are cautioned to BOIL ALL WATER BEFORE CONSUMING beginning at 7 a.m. on the assigned days.  Residents will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and for making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption.  The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.  In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.  When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you.
