Wilson's song reflects on life in a small town and personal memories, based on her own recounting. Wilson, who just finished the European leg of her Whirlwind Tour and is nominated for Favorite Female Country Artist.

Blake Shelton will be playing a song from his album, For Recreational Use Only, and Gwen Stefani will be performing a medley in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of her album Love.Angel.Music.Baby. These performances reflect the traditional and contemporary nature of the genre.

The nominations include Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Post Malone and Shaboozey as nominees for Favorite Male Country Artist, with nominees for Favorite Female Country Artist include Beyoncé, Ella Langley, Kacey Musgraves, Lainey Wilson and Megan Moroney. Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter is also nominated for Favorite Country Album, which is no doubt a highlight from her foray into country music.

The nominees for Favorite Country Song include Jelly Roll's "I Am Not Okay", Luke Combs' "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma", Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen's "I Had Some Help from a Girl", and Shaboozey's viral sensation "A Bar Song (Tipsy)".

The 2025 AMAs will be an evening highlight for country music fans, spotlighting the accomplishments of mainstream artists and those emerging.
