Investigators in Falls County are working to determine the cause of a Wednesday night house fire that claimed the life of an autistic 16-year-old boy and sent his 17-year-old sister to the hospital with injuries.

KWTX's John Carroll reports that fire crews were called to the home near the intersection of County Roads 251 and 2906 in Reagan around 8 PM. A firefighter and a K9 officer found the boy, identified as Tyler Kelley, in a corner of the home and were able to pull him out through a window. Unfortunately, attempts to administer CPR proved unsuccessful, and Tyler could not be revived.

Tyler's sister, Amy, was treated at a nearby hospital for smoke inhalation. She was released Thursday morning. She's staying with family in Waco.

Please join us in keeping this family in your prayers in the wake of this horrific tragedy.
