The University says Baylor Backyard Live will feature "high energy cover bands and a mix of local artists".Jason Cook, Baylor's Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Chief Marketing Officer said, "Over the past several years across the country, we've seen a convergence of college football and music across all genres. Live music is a great way to bring people together in a fun, energetic environment. We've seen it through our concert lineup at Foster Pavilion and McLane Stadium, and we're excited to bring this energy to tailgating before each football game this fall. It just fits with the new Fan First focus."
The Details
Baylor Backyard Live is free for everyone and will begin about an hour and 45 minutes prior to kickoff at each home game. The bands will be announced throughout the season as part of Baylor's continued Fan First rollout.
