Devastating Loss: Family's Belongings Gone in Belton Fire

Community Support: GoFundMe Launched for Displaced Family

The Crutch family, a family of six, has a gofundme currently seeking donations to help them recover from the fire. According to the gofundme, they had only been in the home a short time, and their belongings were delivered from South Korea just a few weeks ago.

Rebuilding Hope: Family Navigates Insurance, Seeks Basic Needs

The family continues on the gofundme explaining that even though they have insurance to cover the loss of their belongings the avenue of recovery through the insurance company is very difficult to navigate. They are hoping to raise $50,000 to help them begin the rebuilding process moving forward.

Urgent Needs: Detailed Breakdown of Family's Recovery Costs

The money that would be donated will be used to help the family find lodging and replace the basic necessities of life. The Crutch family has a detailed list and cost breakdown to explain the money on the donation page. Some of the items that they are trying to replace are clothing and shoes for the entire family, furniture, and documents.

It may seem like a large some of money, but just those items alone are estimated to cost the family $11,000.
