The fourth of July will be here before you know it and the city of Belton is getting the word out early on what's in store.Celebrations begin June 30th with a barbecue at Yettie Polk Park followed by a three day rodeo! The Barbecue begins at 11:30 am.- 1:00 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12-and-under. The PRCA Rodeo begins at 7 pm July 1st at the Bell County Expo Center. July 1st is also military appreciation night at the rodeo. Military members get in free with military ID. Don't miss the Mutton Bustin', All American Cowgirl Chicks and Western gift show each night of the rodeo. July 3rd features the God and Country concert at 3 pm at the First Baptist Church Of Belton. The 4th of July will feature a patriotic program on the steps of the county courthouse at 9 am, followed by the annual parade at starting at 10am. The 150+ year old parade will begin at Main street and 10th avenue, ending on second avenue.

The 4th of July also features the Festival on Nolan Creek beginning at 11 am in Yettie Polk Park. Y'all come! Don't forget the sunscreen!
