Here’s Where to See the Best 4th of July Fireworks in Central Texas
The 4th of July is almost here, and you're probably looking for the best places to party and watch fireworks with your family. We all know Belton, Texas hosts legendary celebrations for days before the big booms start, and their fireworks show is definitely on our list. However, there are celebrations happening all across Central Texas, and one massive event is even scheduled a few days ahead of ID4.
To make it easier for you to party loud and proud this Independence Day, we put together a handy list of the best local fireworks and festivities.

Belton: Backyard Party at Schoepf's BBQ - Concert & Fireworks: July 4th 6 PM
The festivities in Belton kick off early on Saturday, June 24th with the free Downtown Street Party and Concert. You can join the fun from 3-10 PM just outside the Old Courthouse at 101 E Central Ave.
The action gets even better with the 99th Belton PRCA Rodeo July 1, 2, and 3 at the Bell County Expo Center.
At 9AM Tuesday, July 4, the world famous Belton 4th of July Parade begins at the UMHB campus and makes it way down Main Street to the old Bell County Courthouse, then east along Central Avenue, and finally north along Birdwell to the Belton Police Memorial.
Stick around after the parade for the Festival on Nolan Creek 11AM-3PM, with a hot dog eating contest at Noon! 🌭
By the way, there’s a carnival at Liberty Park, 500 E Central from June 29 through July 4, so be sure to stop by and enjoy some carnival food, games, and rides.

Temple: 25th Annual H-E-B 4th of July Fun Fest & Fireworks Show - Crossroads Park - Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Temple’s 4th of July celebration is free and open to the public, and you can even bring your own food and coolers! They just ask that you don’t bring any glass containers, and that you don’t barbecue on the park grounds. There’ll be plenty of food trucks there too, so keep that in mind.
At 7PM, Hair Metal Giants will take the stage for some rockin’ live music, then stick around for the free fireworks show at 9:30PM.

Copperas Cove: 3rd Annual Cove Life Church's 4th of July Celebration - Copperas Cove City Park
The 3rd Annual Cove Life Church's 4th of July Celebration is two days full of family Fourth fun.
The fun begins 3PM Monday, July 3 at Copperas Cove City Park, 1206 W Avenue B, and continues at the park Tuesday, July 4.
Monday, you can join in fun tournaments, sample the food trucks, and enjoy live music with your family. Stick around that evening for the drone show!
Tuesday kicks off with the 5k Freedom Run. Enjoy more live music, activities, and food trucks, then stick around for the fireworks later that night.
Fort Cavazos - Freedom Fest - Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Back for its second year in a row, the festivities at Fort Cavazos will get underway on June 23rd. Vanilla Ice will be performing on that night as well at 9:30 PM.
