Planning a beach getaway for the summer? Trip Advisor's 2022 "Travelers' Choice - Best of the Best" is out and highlights the top 25 beaches in the U.S., and I'm kind of surprised that Texas only had one beach make the list.

It's the perfect time of the year to start planning your spring break or summer vacation. Mountain getaways, big city adventures, or maybe a couple of days in the desert are in the works, but if those plans include some beach time, then this list will definitely come in handy.

Trip Advisor's 2022 "Travelers' Choice - Best of the Best" is a list of the top 25 in a variety of categories including restaurants, destinations, hotels, things to do, and so much more. It's a pretty fascinating article if you're wondering what people around the world consider to be the "best" when it comes to vacationing. All the winners were picked by travelers that actually go to these places and experience them first hand.

Don't Underestimate Texas Beaches

Texas has an entire coast line filled with beaches. Some are better than others for sure. While many of the Texas beaches are often overlooked by travelers because they aren't as glamorous as ones you may find in Florida, California, or Hawaii, those of us who have visited the Texas coastline know that they are just as good, if not better, than most. South Padre Island, Mustang Island, and Rockport Beach are just a couple of examples of great beaches here in Texas.

When you consider how many beaches there are here in the U.S., it's an honor to land a Texas beach on the list of the Top 25, so a big shout-out to Port Aransas Beach for landing in the number 20 spot on this year's list.

Located along the southern coast of Texas just northeast of Corpus Christi on Mustang Island, Port Aransas Beach has everything you'll need to make your vacation one to remember, including lots of hotels, restaurants, and plenty of sand and surf to enjoy.
