Belton police are searching for a man suspected of having stolen prescription drugs from a CVS pharmacy Monday night.

According to police, the man in the surveillance still above walked into the CVS Pharmacy at 2849 North Main Street in Belton at 8:44 PM August 12 and approached an employee. He reportedly showed the pharmacy worker a threatening note and demanded prescription drugs.

The heavyset suspect was wearing a light-colored, long-sleeved shirt with a black shirt underneath and an upside-down triangle design on the back. He also wore black pants, dark sunglasses, and a black baseball cap. The suspect also appeared to be sporting a thin beard.

Detectives are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect or know anything about this crime to contact the Belton Police Department at (254) 933-5840. Tips can also be submitted via text message to (254) 217-6764.
