Temple police are investigating after a car plowed through the wall of a local school early Tuesday afternoon.

Police and fire crews were called to Holy Trinity Catholic High School at 6608 West Adams Avenue shortly after Noon. When they arrived, they discovered that a small sedan had crashed through the wall of an office at the school and was completely inside the building.

Firefighters administered first aid to the sole occupant until a Temple EMS crew arrived to transport them to Baylor Scott and White Hospital. Fire crews also had to work to stabilize the damaged portion of the building.

Fortunately, the school is currently unoccupied, as everyone's out for Spring Break. No injuries besides those to the driver were reported.

Police continued to investigate the cause of the crash late Tuesday afternoon.
