No one was hurt Monday after a car dropping off a student at Copperas Cove High School backed into the front of the building.

According to officials, a vehicle belonging to a parent was left in reverse while parked. At some point, the remote start button was accidently pressed and the car drove backwards into the commons area at the front of the building.

Students and teachers in the area were able to avoid the oncoming car.
