Congratulations are in order for country songwriters Carly Barlowe and Hillary Lindsey: The couple has welcomed their new baby girl!

According to Barlowe's Instagram account, the couple's daughter was born on Dec. 30. On Jan. 6, Barlowe shared a photo of the sweet baby wrapped up in a white blanket.

"One week ago today this sweet Baby Girl came into the world and changed our lives forever!” Barlowe writes in the picture's caption. The baby is sporting a full head of dark hair and her hospital wristbands.

The arrival of their daughter was the icing on the cake for a very exciting and successful year for both tunesmiths: Barlowe was named SESAC’s 2015 Songwriter of the Year, while Lindsey earned two CMA Awards, one for Single of the Year and another for Song of the Year, both for "Girl Crush," a song made popular by Little Big Town.

Both Barlowe and Lindsey are behind numerous big country hits: In addition to "Girl Crush," Lindsey has penned "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Two Black Cadillacs" for Carrie Underwood, while Barlowe helped Dustin Lynch out with "Where It's At (Yep, Yep)."
