News 10 is reporting that the hunt is on for a man who robbed a Central Texas convenience store on Thursday.

Police are releasing information saying that a black man dressed in all blacked walked into the Shorty’s Convenience Store on terrace drive – between Trimmier and South W.S. Young around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

The suspect brandished a gun to the clerk standing behind the front desk and demanded money.

The suspect then made his get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

KWTX said, "The suspect is believed to be between 5 foot 10 inches and six feet tall, and police consider him armed and dangerous."

Police are urging local citizens with any information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477).
