Wait! Don't throw out those eclipse glasses just yet. We've got another one coming right overhead in 2024!

GreatAmericanEclipse.com has some pretty sweet news for Texans who didn't get to see the full version of this week's eclipse. The next total solar eclipse will be passing right over the heart of Texas on April 8th, 2024. That's less than 7 years away!

This week was the end of a 38-year wait in the United States since the last time a total eclipse occurred in the skies above our nation, so another 7 years is a pretty short time to wait in comparison.

The total eclipse will begin in Mexico and cross right over Central Texas before heading up the east coast to Maine. The map below shows the center line of the total eclipse lays just west of the city of Killeen. Heads up Copperas Cove and Lampasas - your hotels may be the first to run out of vacancy!
