The National Weather Service is calling for Showers and Thunderstorms to move into central Texas tonight with the chance for some storms to become strong to severe. Additional chances for sever weather will continue into Sunday.

Storms will be increasing in strength as they move in along and West of I-35. Damaging winds and hail will be the main threats tonight and Sunday. Allow extra time if you are traveling tonight and remember never to try and cross flooded roadways.

Widespread thunderstorms could continue on Sunday with a chance for strong storms to develop south of Highway 20. Some of these thunderstorms that form could produce tornados.
