Check The Meats! H-E-B Issues Recall In Texas Over Contamination
We all love H-E-B in Texas. After all, it was founded here in the Lone Star State. With so many products bought and shipped out day by day, it'll be a hard day to imagine Texas without the iconic red sign.
Unfortunately, sometimes products has recalls for various reasons. H-E-B recently announced a recall on certain meat products.
Meat Products In Question
According to a press release from the company, The products from the store are related to Tyson Foods Inc, who supplies food to the chain. The items in question are 5 pound and 10 pound chubs of HCF 73% ground beef and 5 pound H-E-B 80% ground chuck. All items mentioned are chubs of meat.
The reason for the recall is simple. The items in question are contaminated by an item, unknown at this time. The mirror-like substance could potentially be in over 94,000 pounds of beef, according to press release.
Those who purchased the meat are encouraged to check the freeze by date. The date in question for the possibly contaminated meat is 11/25/2022. Those affected by the recall are urged to return the meat to the store, where they will receive a full refund.
Other Refunds At H-E-B
