Kidz Zone in Hewitt, Texas is temporarily closed after one of its employees was caught on camera abusing several children.

Rosio Vargas, 24, turned herself into police on Wednesday and was charged with three counts of child endangerment. Rosio was released on bond that same afternoon.

A 6-year-old child first reported the abuse to his mother on July 3rd. The mother was able to confirm the abuse by visiting Kidz Zone and reviewing their surveillance footage.

When authorities began their investigation they discovered that the 6-year-old was not Rosio's only victim. According to reports, Vargas, "shoved, kicked, and dragged" several children on different occasions.

Lauren Cruz, the new owner of Kidz Zone voluntarily closed the daycare in order to assist with law enforcement's investigation. Cruz also plans to hire and train new management before the daycare re-opens.

In the meantime, Cruz is welcoming parents to take their children to her other facility, Stepping Stones Academy.
