College Station Gas Station Clerk Died From Gunshot Wounds
News 10 is reporting that a gas station clerk died Sunday after being shot multiple times during a robbery attempt in College Station.
Anita Jean Randle, 54, who lives in College Station, was the victim of multiple gunshot wounds according to College Station Police.
KWTX said, "CSPD said a man walked into the Valero gas station on Rock Prairie Road and Highway 6 and demanded money from the woman. A witness told police when the clerk was unable to provide any money, the suspect shot her multiple times."
Local paramedics arrived at the scene of the shooting and tried to save the woman's life before taking her to Baylor Scott and White Hospital where she later died.
KWTX said, "College Station police said they were looking for a suspect last seen wearing a green, long sleeve shirt and a baseball cap with no facial hair driving a sedan. He was arrested shortly before 4:30 a.m., but his name was not released."
