Copperas Cove police are searching for a man they suspect of participating in an aggravated robbery along with four others.

Detectives say 19-year-old Justin Anthony Ellis is a suspect in the aggravated robbery of Action Pawn, 31120 East Business Highway 190, on January 3.

According to police, Ellis and the other suspects entered the store shortly before 7:22 PM, displayed handguns, and demanded employees lie on the ground. One of the suspects grabbed an employee and demanded money, after which all the suspects fled through the store’s rear exit with cash and merchandise.

Police four suspects are in custody. They’re currently searching for Ellis, who was described as a black male weighing 225lbs and standing 6’2” tall.

Ellis is considered very dangerous and is likely armed, and citizens should not approach or try to apprehend him.
