Texas Woman Wins Year Supply of Dr Pepper
A woman in Corsicana recently won a year supply of Dr Pepper.
According to a report from KCEN, Kayla Vinyard, a resident of Corsicana is Dr Pepper's 2020 winner of a year supply of Dr Pepper, courtesy of Keurig Dr Pepper Waco.
I have to say, of all the things I'm most proud of as a Wacoan, Dr Pepper and Big Red are at the top of my list. If you're curious who's at the bottom, it's typically David Koresh and then Magnolia.
The winner, Kayla Vinyard, is a nurse, and I can't think of anyone more deserving to win than one of those on the front-line fighting to keep our community safe and healthy! The year supply of Dr Pepper coincides with the Dr Pepper Museum's opening date of May 11.
In 2019, the year supply of Dr Pepper went to the the two millionth visitor of the Dr Pepper museum, but this year the celebration took place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donations are being accepted until the end of the week in support of the Dr Pepper Museum. According to the site, "The Museum’s mission is to educate and entertain the general public through the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of objects relevant to the history of the soft drink industry, and through that example, the free enterprise economic system."
