A woman in Victoria was arrested on Friday after officials discovered she had an inappropriate relationship with someone under the Texas Department of Criminal Justice supervision.

According to a report from the Victoria Advocate, criminal justice worker, Sunday Lee Sewalt, 43, was arrested on Friday for a state jail felony of sexual intercourse with a person under the supervision of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Court documents state the offense took place June 20, 2019. A grand jury indicted Sewalt on November 12 of this year. While the supervised person was not in custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Seawalt was aware that this person was under supervision.

Seawalt is currently scheduled for arraignment on December 3.
