Merry Christmas Central Texas! It definitely is my favorite time of the year, this is when my family comes in from out of town, I make new memories with family and friends, and most importantly there’s no better type of party than a Christmas party. I don’t care if you host an ugly sweater party, your standard Christmas party, or even a nightmare on Elm Street Christmas party, Christmas parties are tons of fun.

Christmas time is when you bring out your expensive China, beautiful gowns, and great spirit alcohol. As I begin to prepare myself for the holiday I realize, that Christmas will be over the weekend, which means Central Texas, liquor stores will be closed. Hear me out, Christmas Eve is on Saturday which is usually when people close up shop for the holiday, Christmas day is actually on Sunday so, of course, there will not a liquor store open, and on December 26 businesses are usually closed the day after Christmas as well.

DO NOT WALK TEXAS RUN TO THE NEAREST SPIRIT STORES!

Due to the fact that the holiday falls during the weekend, we’re looking at 72 hours of no chance to purchase alcohol, and I don’t know about you but, I can’t make my famous Christmas punch without the special ingredient to give it that punch, a.k.a. tequila. Do not walk Central Texas, run to the liquor store this week so you don’t find yourself having a Merry Christmas without any spirits. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
