One of em is right here in our back yard! We've also included a few a little further out, but they are totally worth the drive. Let's Go!
Blue Starlite Mini. Urban. Drive-In
Location: 1901 E. 51st Austin, Texas
Distance: 65 Miles down I-35. (1 hour)
Features: Pretty cool set up with downtown Austin in the backdrop from some of the parking angles. It's been featured on ABC, NBC, and Fox News! They've got new films and retro screenings happening here all the time. It's also been voted one of the Top Ten Date nights by Austin.com! Walk in's are Welcome.
Galaxy Drive-In Movie Theater
Location: 5301 I-45 Ennis, Texas
Distance: 110 miles. (2 hours)
Features: You may be thinking, "It takes longer to drive home than to see the movie." Not so my friend! The Galaxy always gives you TWO movies for the price of admission (like most Drive-Ins). Galaxy has all the great movie food you want at the snack bar, and the sound for your movie comes right through your radio.
Stars and Stripes Drive-In
Location: 1178 Kroesche Ln, New Braunfels, Texas
Distance: 111 miles. (2 hours)
Features: Well, We're driving again. But that's ok! It's a Drive-In Theater. It's like part of the rules. You may want to follow these guys on fb because it seems they are giving away tickets on their page quite a bit. It's also a tasty restaurant so your double film feature can come with a Double Cheeseburger or Grilled Cheese, even Nachos!
Last Drive-In Picture Show
Location: 2912 TX-36, Gatesville, Texas
Distance: 33 Miles. (35 minutes away)
Features: Nice and close to home in Temple or Killeen, I can't wait to take a night to check out the Last Drive-In Picture Show. "Last" Brings the fun with double features, mini-golf, and the must have video arcade! Best part is, you'll probably see someone else you know since it's so close to home!
