Ezekiel Elliot will end his 40-day holdout and join the Cowboys in practice after accepting a six-year contract extension at $90 million. Combine this with the two years he had remaining on his original rookie deal and Elliot becomes the first running back in Cowboys history to climb above the $100 million dollar mark in overall value.
So Cowboys fans now have Zek for 8 years. All together the deal is worth $103 million, with $50 million guaranteed. It now stands as the biggest running back contract in NFL history.
