Four-Car Pile-Up Jams Traffic in Copperas Cove

A four-vehicle crash on Eastbound 190 about a mile east of Copperas Cove caused some big traffic headaches this morning. it happened shortly before 8 AM. If you couldn't figure out what the hold up was this morning, here is what happened.

Several people were hospitalized, but we don't know their condition. The roadway took about 90 minutes to clear, and traffic was channeled into a single lane.

KWTX reports that DPS Sgt. Dave Roberts said people injured in the accident had been taken over to Metroplex and Darnall Medical Center for attention.

Traffic still was moving extremely slowly as late as 9 a.m. but officials said the highway should be clear by about 9:30 a.m.
