Gatesville Storage Facility Heavily Damaged by Fire

A fire at a storage facility near Gatesville High School produced heavy smoke that was visible for miles Monday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to the building on South Lovers Lane around 1:15 p.m. Crews had the fire under control by 2 p.m., but not before the structure and its contents were heavily damaged. It was no immediately clear who owned the building or what was inside.

No one was injured.
