George and Barbara Bush Take Part In Super Bowl Coin Toss
It's either a small miracle, or a testament to the resilience of the nations 41st President.
George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara spent inauguration day admitted to the hospital in Houston, and come Super Bowl Sunday, they are right back in the action for the opening coin toss at the big game!
Atlanta actually won the coin toss but decided to let the Patriots start with the football to begin the game. George and Barbara received a huge ovation from the Houston audience. They also received several handshakes and greetings from players and coaches on both sides.
President Bush was receiving treatment for pneumonia at Houston Methodist Hospital for almost two weeks but has made an impressive recovery for age 92.
Newly elected Vice President Mike Pence was in attendance at the Superbowl and could also be seen cheering on the Bush Family.
