It’s Election Day. Where Do I Vote?
If you didn't vote early, today is your last chance to take part in the 2018 mid-term elections.
It's important to do your civic duty and make your voice heard, but do you know where to go to do that? Or when? Do you know if you're registered?
Don't worry. We've got some handy links to help you sort it out.
First, you'll want to check the Texas Secretary of State's online registration search tool at https://teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov/MVP/mvp.do.
The site will ask you for some basic information to determine if you're registered, then display the date you registered, whether or not your registration is active, and which district you're in. It'll even tell you what your Voter Unique Identifier (VUID) is.
The site above will link you to a list of your county's polling locations, but if you want to get more precise information on where you should go to vote, visit https://gttp.votinginfoproject.org/.
Simply enter your address and BAM, you'll see your polling location, a map to it, a list of who will appear on your ballot, and information on who to contact if you have any issues.
There's a lot at stake this year, so don't sit on the sidelines. Get out and cast your ballot!
