Webmaster Jason Eisenberg gave me a Pokémon Go lesson this week. I still don't really know what I'm doing, but watch the video above and we think you'll get the idea.Pokémon has been around for 20 some years, but it's just now becoming one of the hottest new mobile games to play on your smart phone. Like in the video, you don't really have to know much about Pokémon to play. With a little practice, you'll be able to catch and train your Pokémon with the best of them. #TeamRed

Once you've tried your hand at this game, it becomes very easy to spot people out playing Pokémon go on their smart phones. It's kind of funny to see groups of people walking around downtown, or in the area parks, holding up their phones and chasing all kinds of Pokémon creatures.

If anything, this game finally encourages folks to get up off the couch and go get some exercise. The more you're on the move, the better you'll do. Here are a few tips to help my fellow beginners along. First, do not play Pokémon Go while operating a vehicle. That's rule number one. Second, Pokémon seem to love being around food! The more public places you visit, the more you'll find. Lastly, google maps now includes an overlay with all kinds of Pokestops to help you upgrade as you play. This will help you locate more Pokémon, as well as Pokémon Gyms to help you upgrade the army your training.

Good luck! Have fun and play safe y'all!
