Killeen Man Charged with Murder after Fatal Shooting at OBok Restaurant and Club
A Killeen man has been charged with murder after police say he gunned another man down during an argument at a club early Saturday morning.
Bell County Jail records indicate that 45-year-old Reginald Ferlandus Jackson was booked at 4:34 PM Sunday and charged with first degree felony murder. His bond was set at $500,000, and he remained in the jail Monday afternoon.
Christy Soto and Ke'Sha Lopez with our news partner, KWTX-TV, report that the victim, 41-year-old Deandre Patrick Thomas of Killeen, was found with a bullet wound outside the OBok Restaurant and Club at 2815 South Fort Hood St. around 1:50 AM Saturday. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he passed away about an hour later.
Police believe Jackson shot Thomas following an argument.
