Killeen Man Sentenced for running a Fort Hood Soldier over

Chance Ryan Biels will serve 33 years in prison for running a woman over with his truck in what appears to have been a road rage incident in 2017.

According to KWTX witnesses told police officers that a four-door pick up truck was following a female Fort Hood soldier, when her vehicle stopped back in 2017.

Once the soldier got out of her vehicle the driver of the pickup truck struck her causing multiple injuries including Brain bleeding, unstable neck fractures, a skull fracture, and a rib fracture.

Biels, said the victim threw a water bottle through her window and struck him in the back of the head, he then got mad and started to follow her according to the police affidavit.

He denied that he hit her intentionally but video from a neighbors camera shows otherwise.

He was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
