Killeen Police Seeking Man For Information About Recent Shooting

The Killeen Police Department is looking for a man who may have information about a deadly shooting that occurred Thursday.

Investigators are asking the public for information leading to the whereabouts of 27-year-old Michael Shane Laurenti. Laurenti is believed to have information about the shooting death of 38-year-old Maurice Carter. Carter was found dead in Killeen’s Highlander Apartments complex in the 300 block of North 22nd Street last week.

Laurenti has not been officially named as a suspect or charged with a crime. He is described as 5’8” tall, weighing 150 pound and having blue eyes and brown hair.
