Killeen SWAT Involved in Standoff on Horizon Drive

KWTX's Kathleen Serie reports that the Killeen Police Department SWAT team was called in response to a shooting at a four-plex in the 1100 block of Horizon Drive around 3 AM Monday. It appears a fight started, during which gunfire erupted.

A 71-year-old woman inside another four-plex was hit in the foot by a stray bullet. The suspects reportedly barricaded themselves in an apartment, where they remained for about 3 hours.

KWTX reports the SWAT team made contact with the suspects, detained them, then searched and cleared the apartment.
