Just how prepared are we? Lawn Love looked at the top 200 cities in the U.S., and Killeen isn't the worst place to be.

So, if a zombie apocalypse were to occur, how prepared are you? How prepared is Killeen as a whole?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offered some tips back in 2011 should a zombie apocalypse take place. I highly recommend you take a few notes and strongly urge you to prepare a kit just incase. Better safe than sorry.

The Zombie Apocalypse in Texas

Can anybody or city be 100% ready for such an event? No, but turns out some cities are a bit more naturally prepared than others.

Lawn Love took their cue from the CDC's “Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse” guide to list the top cities that are ready to survive a zombie apocalypse. Lawn Love looked at the top 200 cities in the country and compiled their list based on several factors that included vulnerability, hideouts, supplies, protection and mobility. Texas has 23 of the top 200 cities. Some are better prepared than others.

Is Killeen, Texas Ready for The Zombie Apocalypse?

Killeen did pretty good overall, ranking as the 10th best Texas city and the 91st city out of 200. Killeen scored best in "Hideout Rank" and "Mobility Rank". I'm no genius here but it seems we stand a pretty good chance of survival in Killeen.
