A local woman reported missing earlier this week was found in her car Friday afternoon in a ravine just off US190 in Nolanville.

KWTX's Alex Cano reports that Delettra Whittman, 51, of Belton was discovered by her family near the Stillhouse Hollow Park exit of eastbound 190 around 2 PM.

Whittman was reported missing Wednesday. It appears she lost control of her vehicle, which left the roadway, struck a tree, and ended up in a ravine.

KCEN reports that Whittman's family took upon themselves to comb the area in search of her after police said they'd have to wait 72 hours after she was reported missing to mount a search.
