KWTX is reporting that emergency crews worked for over an hour to get the male driver free from the vehicle.

The car ran into a line of trees on the 14000 block of Highway 195. Killeen police said the vehicle, which was traveling northbound, left the roadway for an unknown reason.

The accident happened about 11:40 p.m Wednesday night, and the emergency crews freed the man around 1 a.m. when he was then transported to the local hospital. It's being reported that the man was alert at the time, but his condition is unknown at this time.

This is a good way to see what it takes to extricate a person from a wreck, and hopefully, it's the only way you'll see it.
