Most of Netflix's original series have proven themselves of exceptional quality, but will the streaming service have the same taste in adult animated series? We'll find out, as 2014 brings original animated series 'BoJack Horseman,' starring the vocal talents of 'Arrested Development''s Will Arnett and 'Breaking Bad' star Aaron Paul.

Created by comedian and writer Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the 12-episode original series follows whiskey-drinking talking horse BoJack (Arnett), who deals with personal crises after the heyday of his 1990s family sitcom ‘Horsin’ Around’. Bojack also contends with his human sidekick Todd (Paul) and feline agent and ex-lover Princess Caroline (Amy Sedaris).

“Even though he’s been out to pasture, I’ve always admired BoJack for his inimitable style and can-do attitude,” Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos jokingly said of the announcement. “I couldn’t be more thrilled that he’s getting off his legendary haunches to join the Internet TV revolution here on Netflix.”

Bob-Waksberg, Steven A. Cohen and Noel Bright will executive produce with Arnett and Paul, while BoJack himself was designed by graphic artist Lisa Hanawalt. All 12 episodes will premiere under Netflix's usual all-at-once model in mid-2014. Will you check out 'BoJack Horseman' when Netflix's new animated series arrives?
