Pumpkin carving is far from easy, but there's a pro among us right here in Central Texas!

Outrageous Pumpkins is a show on the Food Network channel that features seven expert pumpkin carvers all competing in outrageous challenges to win the title of Outrageous Pumpkins Champion and $25,000!

This season will include Central Texas' very own Kristina Marie Patenaude of Temple!

Kristina Is Discovered

Kristina has been carving for over a decade, and regularly posts her creations on social media. Little did she know those exact social media posts would lead to her discovery by the Food Network channel.

According to a report from our news partners at KWTX, Kristina never realized just how good she truly is at carving pumpkins until producers at Food Network reached out to her.

Supporting Our Own

As a fan of the show, Kristina was honored to be selected to compete. This season has already been filmed, and while Kristina can't reveal the winner, Central Texans can cheer her on as we watch her compete against other pumpkin carving experts!

You can catch the premiere of season 2 of Outrageous Pumpkins on Sunday, October 3 at 9 PM.
