Police Escort a Little Ole Lady and Her Scooter
She got lost. The woman was miles from home and did not know how to get back. Someone called 911 after seeing her tooling along down a Washington highway on her motorized scooter.
Then people were disturbed to see what looked like a police car chasing after a lady on a scooter, at 6 miles an hour. Don't get excited people, the officer was trying to get her home.
The woman, said to be her 80's had been out meeting a friend but got lost going home. She ended up 4 miles out of her way, still headed in the wrong direction. After the calls came in, the officer stopped her, figured out where she had to go, told her how to get there, and followed her home. It took over an hour! But she got home safely.
