Police Release Surveillance Video of Dollar Store Robbery
News 10 is reporting that surveillance video was released on Tuesday of the armed robbery that took place at the Killeen Family Dollar store over the weekend.
The robbery took place close to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Killeen Family Dollar store at 1604 South Fort Hood St.
KWTX said, "The robber, who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, walked into the store, pointed a handgun at employees and demanded money. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash."
This dollar store robbery comes on the heels of multiple robberies throughout Central Texas including a robbery of a local food mart and a local convenience store.
Police are encouraging anyone with information on these robberies to come forward and help police.
