We all dread having to go to the DMV, especially on a work day. If you live in Temple, Texas or a surrounding town, there's a handy app you should know about that could help you jump in line before you even arrive, and could even help you skip ahead.

DMV Dread Is A Real Thing

All of us at one point in our lives are going to run into timing issues. What exactly do I mean by that? Well think back to a time where you had get something done in a short time.

Not only that, other Texans have to do the same thing as well. Whatever it may be, you know there is going to be a line. The one thing that you do know: that line is probably going to be long.

That feeling of dread has entered your mind hasn't it? Having to possibly miss time during the day at work, or missing out on something you want to do. All because one silly thing you have to do.

Thankfully, Apps Like QLess Exist

So how could we possibly eliminate this long line problem? Well, through the power of one app simply named QLess. What does it do, you ask?

Use QLess To Get In Line Virtually

Think of it like this: a virtual you is placed in line! The best part? You can't lose your spot.

The app also will send you updates to remind you when your appointment approaching. For me, it was a lifesaver when I was getting set to get Texas license plates for my car. My coworker alerted me to the app, saying I could get my place in line easily while gathering all my documents needed. He told me that when he was in the back of a long line before the office had even opened, he was able to tap QLess, drop in his name, and be first in line when the doors unlocked.

So having a spot guaranteed was a great feeling to have. No worries of having to wait longer than normal to get my task done.

The Best Part? The QLess App Is Free!

This app should definitely be on your phone. Who doesn't love saving time while dealing with the mundane parts of life? It saves more time for the fun stuff!

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
